Student Lectures and Workshops
The Student Affairs Committee plans events specifically for PA and Pre-PA students at the CAPA Conference, featuring lectures and hands-on workshops. These sessions cover high-yield topics like point-of-care ultrasound, EKG interpretation, wilderness medicine, Q&A panels with practicing PAs, suturing, and more. Whether you're just starting your journey or preparing for clinicals, these sessions are designed to support you as a future PA. It’s the perfect opportunity to build your clinical skills, connect with peers, and grow your professional network.
Challenge Bowl
Think fast, dress loud, and bring the brainpower! The CAPA Challenge Bowl is our very own version of the national competition—where teams from PA programs across the state face off in a fast-paced medical trivia showdown. Expect wild costumes, unbeatable school spirit, and plenty of friendly competition. It’s a can't-miss student event! Come cheer on your favorite team and watch the schools battle it out for the title of 2026 Challenge Bowl Champions!

Silent Auction
Each year at the CAPA Conference, PA programs from across Colorado collect donations from local and national companies to create themed baskets for our Silent Auction. Each program selects a local charity to support, making every bid an opportunity to give back to our communities. This year’s supported organizations included Rosie’s Ranch (Rocky Vista University), The Kempe Foundation (University of Colorado), A Precious Child (Red Rocks Community College), and Roundup River Ranch (Colorado Mesa University). If you are interested in getting involved or donating items for next year’s auction, please reach out to the Student Affairs Committee.
