CAPA Legislative Update:

Thank you to everyone who participated in the grassroots advocacy campaign for HB22-1095! PAs in our state educated many about our profession and created very important outreach and connection with colleagues and legislators. We sent 10,000 emails to legislators and it mattered! Thank you all for your support and the work you do daily to care for patients.

Please review the latest Legislative Alert email for the updates!

Our next ask is for PAs in the state to submit written comment to the Colorado Podiatry Board. They are suggesting some extreme restrictions for PAs out of line with state statute. Comments are due June 3rd.

Notice and Draft Rules - see page 11

We embrace the strength of our members, and our constituent and partner organizations to speak with one voice for the PA profession in Colorado and work together to transform healthcare.

Alysia Wiley, Treasurer

I graduated PA school in 2011 from Midwestern University. I work in Trauma Surgery in northern Colorado. I joined the CAPA board in 2013 and have filled multiple positions over the years. CAPA is the only organization that supports all Colorado PAs and I think it is vital to remain involved so that all PAs are represented. I encourage all PAs to reach out to CAPA and make sure your voice is heard!
